Welcome to DLernen

DLernen is a simple PHP-GTK application that can help newbie learners of the german language. I made it for me to help me faster and easier to lern the genders of the german substantives (nouns). PHP scripting language. The homepage of PHP-GTK is here. The words are stored in a SQLite database by using php_sqlite extension of PHP. SQLite's web site is here. The page of the php_sqlite extension is here. SQLite suitable for embedded applications since it offers access to the data with SQL and also does not need a server since the library is the server.
